2) Great computers for kids are Chromebooks (mid $200’s) or Mac air mini’s if you can afford it
3) Add safety controls for searching the web. Note that Google defaults to “safesearch,” a great tool to ensure porn and other unsuitable content is filtered out. iTunes enables parental controls on apps and music for download.
4) Similarly, add parental controls to your kids phones too. Many phone carriers offer parental controls that allow you to turn off phone service during set hours, e.g. homework hours at night. Check out Verizon FamilyBase where you can monitor wireless activities and set usage limits and restrictions for each user on an account. There’s similar programs with the other major providers too.
